NFL Draft: Chiefs Add Berry to Tribe.

Eric Berry's excellent ability against the pass and run will make him a rookie playmaker for Kansas in the coming 2010/11 season. Kansas rate Berry highly and believe that they could have the next Troy Polamalu on their hands.

Kansas Must Win Game

Kansas City's Dick Vermeil is pretty sure that coaching rival Bill Parcells is unhappy right now. Dallas has lost two in a row and from Kansas' perspective this is not a good time to come up against and angry Bill Parcells and team - a team they have to meet in Dallas.

Vermeil knows that Dallas will be out to make things right. To play harder than ever.

"Bill has a great way of applying pressure from a leadership standpoint. Believe me, I know a lot of guys who play for Bill feel that pressure, and then they play better. That's his style. He's a great leader."

The game is also important for both teams - which should make for an enthralling contest.

At 8-4, Kansas figure they need to win around three of the final four games to have a wild card chance. They face the Giants next week and then come home for the Chargers and Bengals - so this is probably the road game they have the best chance of winning.

This is the eighth meeting between the teams. Dallas lead 4-3, but the teams haven't met since 1998 when Kansas won 20-17 at home. Kansas have lost on their last two trips to Texas Stadium and have won only once in four trips.

Dallas are -3 for this game on our spreads.

Priest Holmes Injured

Kansas City Chiefs' Priest Holmes has been placed on the injured reserve due to head and neck problems.

Carl Peterson made the announcement but did not include details of the injury. Holmes missed Sunday's game against Oakland because of concussion and a report has stated that doctors found lumps on Holmes' spine.

"This decision was made based on the advice of our medical staff and two expert outside medical consultants," said Peterson. "The consensus was that Priest should cease to have physical contact for a minimum of 30 days and will then be re-evaluated."

The unconfirmed report also said that Holmes may have to retire because of the spinal condition, which could cause future paralysis. Peterson did not confirm this stating: "At this time, we consider this not to be a career-ending injury. The doctors have indicated that Priest's condition will improve by refraining from contact. As always, the health and well-being of our players is our utmost concern. Priest is a marvelously-talented performer and has been an extremely productive player as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs."

This season, Holmes has 451 yards rushing and six touchdowns on the ground. He has also caught 21 passes for 197 yards.
